Sunday April 22 friendly mini-tournament coincided with SC OLHANENSE’S 106th Anniversary celebrations included 4 teams: Olhão EAWF; SCO Veterans; Tavira EAWF & The Boavista Strollers
Just a report on our successful outing to Olhao. Although we didn't win the trophy we gave a very good account of ourselves earning numerous accolades from our opponents who said we had improved immensely since the last tournament.
Big Rog (Roger Clarke ) scored a hat-trick in the final game, Gary Bristow scored some absolute screamers and even Dowd managed to bag himself a brace of goals in the tournament. Our goalkeeper Pertti Holopainen was a candidate for man of the tournament pulling off some stunning saves and a great day was had by all.
